While my work is informed by a person-centered, warm, and authentic approach, I try to flexibly meet the needs of clients with a range of presentations. I tend to be focused on fostering meaning and discovering one's genuine self, so those who are highly insightful or want to improve their insight tend to enjoy my approach most. I often help clients reflect on past and present experiences and relationships to foster a deeper understanding of how their concerns arose and how to fundamentally improve, not just temporarily manage, their lives
As a generalist psychologist, I have a range of experiences that inform my work. I have an extensive background in college counseling, though have also worked in community clinics and inpatient units with adults and seniors. I also have specialized training in working with those experiencing grief, as well as in couples counseling and group therapy.
I understand that finding help can be incredibly challenging, and feeling comfortable with the therapist you find is even harder.
