Welcome to Dyad Psychology! Meet our providers: Contessa Brown, MHC-A, has been serving as a clinician in the Rhode Island and Massachusetts community for almost two years. Her goal is to empower and strengthen her clients as they navigate life’s transitions. Preparing them for the chapters that are ahead in addition to finding closure from the previous chapters of life. Her goal has always remained to help break the stigmatism of mental health & wellness; especially within the BIPOC community. Delivering therapeutic interventions in a in a way that is culturally competent & compassionate.
Her current evidence based therapeutic approach includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Strengths Based Therapy (SBT), Mindfulness, Expressive Arts, through a lens of cultural competence & compassion. Contessa holds a Bachelor of Arts & Sciences in Psychology and MA in Holistic Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
Sarit Lesser, PsyD has been focusing on the profoundly intelligent, self-corrective, healing mechanisms that the body holds, by utilizing Psychedelic Somatic Interactional Psychotherapy (PSIP), a therapeutic modality combining a somatic, autonomic nervous system-based treatment protocol with legal psychedelic plant-based medicines.
