I'm a Trauma-Informed and Harm Reduction Therapist, which means that we will look for elements of trauma and individualize strategies specific to your needs and goals. Modern trauma therapy techniques allow options with individualizing treatment planning. Gone are the days where everyone will be put through the same program no matter what their needs.

Since 2014 I have been hosting and producing podcast sharing information about mental health and healing on The Broken Brain podcast. Also I am involved in the use of Role-Playing Games (RPG), which are being used by many for Social Skills, Anger Management, Emotional Regulation, etc, in solo and group therapy. Role-Playing Games (RPG) are on the rise in popularity, seems like you can't toss a D10 without it running into a new tabletop game system. I am using RPGs to work through trauma, addiction, build community, and practice social skills. Email and tell me what you're working on. Players will complete a campaign together to accomplish their goals as teammates. Every campaign is planned individually for the group, based on every member's needs. $300 for an 8 week campaigns, 1.5 hours each session. Join online or in person.

Social Skill Activities

Social Skill class for young people, aged 13-18, been going for about 10 years with many wonderful youth coming through. Most of the kids in the group have been diagnosed with ADHD, Social Anxiety, Panic Disorder, or Autism Spectrum. This isn't required, just mentioned to give an idea of what the group is like. The group uses hands-on activities, games, and role-playing to learn, which works much better for this group of young people. Group members learn skills to practice outside of group, and have fun with friends they form in group as well. Online & In-person attendance are available.
