My top priority is for each client to feel seen, understood, supported, and not alone. I work to facilitate a judgment-free space where people can explore their traumas, self esteem, and life experiences to better understand who they are, where they’ve come from, and where they want to be. My style of practice is one of openness and acceptance that includes the empathy to provide a difficult ‘push’ when necessary. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, issues of self-worth, identity and self image, or environmental life stressors, it is my goal to help you feel secure in your journey towards healing.
I provide an affirming environment for those who seek growth in areas such as self image, self-acceptance, self esteem, gender identity, sexual orientation/identity, trauma/PTSD, and relationship issues. I have extensive clinical experience working with LGBTQIA+ individuals. This includes parents of members of the Queer community who need support.
I want to acknowledge the amount of bravery it takes to seek out psychotherapy. In my own experience, finding the right therapist can feel like entering a specific dating pool which often results in feelings of frustration and hopelessness. It would be a great privilege and honor to be the clinician that ends someone’s search.
