My vision for you is to encourage growth towards psychological wholeness by restoring balance that includes mental, physical, and spiritual health. I see the pathway of wholeness as a source of healing and transformation of perspective, a deeper respect for life, increased creativity, joy, and a sense of purpose, and various other physiological benefits.
I have worked in a variety of private, community, and hospital settings including church-based counseling and community outpatient centers. I have extensive training in mindfulness-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapies, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy.
We are works in progress, seeking wholeness. Work towards wholeness takes shape in our daily lives as we learn to respond rather than react to the challenges of life. As such, in therapy we are invited to look at the ways our relationships, attachments, and addictions are opportunities for possible transformative shifts in being and relating with others.
