Welcome! I am a licensed psychologist specializing in challenges with self-worth and relational trauma, as well as the feelings of depression, anxiety, or numbness that often occur with these experiences. My work is rooted in attachment-focused and trauma-informed approaches - I help people understand how relationships (especially the earliest ones in our lives) impact being able to feel emotionally safe with themselves and others. I especially enjoy helping people get out of their heads and into their hearts, or do the opposite when it would help to slow down our emotional experiences to make sense of them.
I prioritize authentic change and growth over the management and reduction of symptoms. Some people I work with arrive with a specific treatment goal, while others are beginning (or returning to) an ongoing process of self-exploration and healing. Regardless, my hope is that we will work together to learn something new and authentically felt about your life.
Finding a therapist is often an imprecise, vulnerable process, especially if it’s the first time you’re going through it. In recognition of that, I do my best to make the process as human and intentional as I can. If you think I might be of help to you, send me an email and let’s talk.
