My ideal client is one that has taken the first step in therapy: being open to getting help. My approach to therapy is to identify current issues a person is having, and identifying and creating goals both long term and short term. I believe the best way to solve a problem is to identify what the problem truly is, and create a plan using steps to overcome the problem.
Although I have not been in the field as long as many of my other colleagues, I have experience in a variety of different issues, diagnoses, and life circumstances. I have the most experience in substance use, sexual assault, domestic violence, depression, anxiety, and co-occurring problems.
I understand that therapy is about you, so I accept any and all feedback to ensure that you are getting the best treatment that I can give you.
