I work well with clients whose concerns are related to substance use, addiction, relationship conflict, eating disorders, body image, and LGBTQ+ identity. I see both individuals and couples.
Shame and fear of vulnerability are often at the core of mental health challenges. I have a deep understanding of these emotions and a warm and nonjudgmental presence in session. As Carl Rogers famously stated, “It’s the relationship that heals,” and I believe that each client needs to feel truly safe, seen, and accepted for therapy to be effective.
