I've been in practice for more than 35 years, the last three decades in the Bryan/College Station area. I work with individuals, couples, and families on a variety of issues. I have extensive experience in treating depression, anxiety, personality disorders, marital issues, anger, stress management, and parent-child relationships. I am available for office sessions as well as phone and online counseling.
With graduate level training and degrees in both Christian psychology and theology, I offer a unique service to my clients that is sensitive to psychological issues while providing an environment for counseling that is at once accepting and challenging. My personal credo is, "Comforting the Disturbed, Disturbing the Comfortable."
As a Christian Counselor, I believe I am held to moral and ethical standards that go beyond what any state board might require. I do not seek to convert people but instead work within each person's religious or philosophical belief system. I seek to treat everyone with respect and dignity.
