I believe psychotherapy enhances our natural tendency to understand ourselves as we strive to realize our hopes and aspirations.
Psychotherapy is about making enduring changes. Our task involves tapping resources, resolving conflicts, and creating avenues for growth. My clients have found me easy-going and insightful. In my 18 years of practice, I have seen what psychotherapy can do to change self-defeating patterns, relieve troubling symptoms, and foster better understanding and self-acceptance.
As an Assistant Clinical Professor I hold faculty appointments at the Yale Child Study Center and the Psychiatry Department in the Yale School of Medicine. I have published in peer-related journals on psychotherapy supervision and young adult psychopathology. I work with late teens and adults in individual and couples psychotherapy.
