Hello and welcome! My name is Dorothy Llamosas. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Accredited Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) therapist. I obtained a Master's degree in Psychology from the University of the Rockies and am fluent in English and Spanish. I have over 9 years experience with individuals encountering family conflict, communication issues, lack of support, parenting and behavior difficulties with children, coping with stress and life changes, and dealing with depression and anxiety. In my career, I have also helped individuals dealing with physical and emotional abuse.
My therapy style is warm and engaging. I am respectful, compassionate, and sensitive knowing that seeking help and change can sometimes be difficult and scary, especially when it is something new. Dialogue and treatment plans are centered around each person's individual needs. I let you set the pace.
