I'm not taking any new clients at this time. I believe that happiness is a choice that you can make every day of your life -- an active, conscious choice. I believe that life is meant to be enjoyed -- not just endured. My clients tell me that I am easy to talk to and nonjudgmental. Clients come to me because they are dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, career or relationship issues. I create a safe place where clients let go of the past, enjoy the present and embrace the future. I use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) with an emphasis on mindfulness. Whatever you are going through, you do not have to go through it alone.
Treating anxiety, depression, stress, infertility and grief are specialties of mine. I conduct a lot of corporate trainings on stress management, relaxation and dealing with difficult people. I am an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) professional having worked in the EAP field for 15 years.
I have been a therapist for 20 years. This is my second career. Prior to this, I spent 10 years in management consulting. I have worked with many clients who are in career transition and need help figuring out the next chapter.
