I am a developmental psychologist and a licensed marriage and family therapist. I specialize in children, adolescents, parenting, co-parenting, and family systems. I believe that each member of a family impacts every other member, so when issues arise in one member, each member is affected. I place a high importance on communication within a family to help them to improve family dynamics. Issues in an individual or a family can arise at any time, so clients will graduate therapy with the skills they need to conquer future stressors.
Because I view therapy as a collaborative process that assists clients in finding their own strengths and resources, I use Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients to reach their goals, whether it is becoming a better parent or a self-assured adolescent.
I provide a safe, neutral, open environment for individuals and families. This non-judgmental atmosphere is particularly therapeutic for those who are discovering who they are and who they want to be. I am currently taking new clients and providing teletherapy and in-person sessions. I look forward to working with you.
