Pause for a second, if only to appreciate the strength in making the decision to seek help. The complexity of existing can be difficult to navigate. I approach my work with an understanding that each client's experience is unique & I appreciate the courage it takes to engage in therapy. I work to help my clients feel heard & understood while exploring the sources of their difficulty. It is important to me that my relationship with clients is collaborative. Through this collaboration, we will work toward a clear understanding of what brings you to therapy, as well as identify opportunities for growth & acceptance.
Therapy should be a place free from judgement, where you are empowered to share your thoughts, feelings, & story. Certain factors both present and historical, influence and promote an elevation of different symptoms and issues within the LGBTQIA+ community. My goal is to provide an empathetic and safe environment for emotional expression and growth.
I am accepting new clients for morning and evening hours Monday through Friday. Choosing the right therapist that suits your specific needs is a delicate process, and the anxiety that builds up before the first appointment can be a bit overwhelming.
