We all have times in our lives when we’re feeling stuck and our usual ways of dealing with problems aren’t working the way they once did. Maybe you are experiencing symptoms of depression or anxiety for no apparent reason, or feelings that “just don’t make sense”. Perhaps you are questioning your relationships, life decisions, or even core aspects of who you are as a person. My approach to psychotherapy involves establishing a collaborative relationship, in which we will work together to understand your life experiences in the context of your life story, relationships, and cultural background.
I specialize in the areas of identity, gender roles, men and masculinity, questions of meaning and purpose in life, and the development of healthy, meaningful relationships. Working on these issues in therapy often involves acknowledging thoughts, feelings, and experiences that are difficult to talk about but are just too important to pass over in silence.
I am currently offering appointments Mondays and Tuesdays, 9am-3pm. My office is located at Simply Well (www.simplywellcarlisle.com), where you will also find chiropractic, massage, and yoga classes. The practitioners at Simply Well work together to provide well-rounded, holistic care for the whole person.
