My name is Don Ford and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I have helped individuals who have experienced a variety of clinical symptoms and disorders including substance abuse, addictions, trauma, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, low self-esteem, and LGBTQIA+ concerns. I help individuals of all ages struggling with life dissatisfaction to develop the skills and experience to live healthy, productive, and positive lives.
I have developed an appreciation for each client's perspective, unique needs, and challenges. I use an integrated therapeutic approach which includes Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectical Behavioral, Interpersonal, and Solution Focused therapeutic modalities to create positive results. I am also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).
