My goal as your therapist is to help individuals, couples and families take the necessary steps needed to heal via helping them re-author their story. The work I do with people involves helping them heal through facing their hard truths. Through my experience with personal hardships and what society would see as failures, I have come to the realization that perfection is an illusion and a more realistic obtainable goal is to strive for excellence – meaning continually trying to do your best.
As a therapist, educator/researcher, I use my professional background infused with the tools of transparency, effective communication, accountability and empathy to help you tap into your strengths to restore a sense of hope and help you reach your full potential. I believe “Life-changing healing starts with recognizing & facing how you reinforce your pain”.
