Hi, I'm Dipika! I’m a South Asian Therapist whose lived experience growing up in both Indian/Desi & American cultures has shaped my understanding of the complex interplay between identity, cultural expectations, & mental health. My therapeutic approach draws from Eastern philosophies, viewing mental health struggles as invitations for growth, deeper self-understanding, & the evolution of one’s consciousness. While our society tends to pathologize these struggles & label them as illnesses, I view them as manifestations of disconnection from ourselves & communities- & signs of disharmony between mind, body, & spirit.
As a Humanistic Therapist, I approach our sessions with the understanding that we are both imperfect, flawed human beings, just doing our best.
