As a Counseling Psychologist I am searching to find health or “ego strength“ in a person. People are capable of having internal positive and negative aspects in play at all times. Working from a psychodynamic model to see the whole clinical picture, I believe insight is crucial but it doesn’t guarantee behavior change. To that end I work from a cognitive and behavioral model to build strength.
I am trained to diagnose and treat clinical psychopathology from mild to severe using techniques such as psychiatric interview, psychological testing, cognitive assessment, career evaluations, and diagnostic reports from your physician and family.
Available Monday thru Friday and some weekends. Your invited to call me in between sessions when difficulties arrive in the moment. Very flexible with hours and most times I can accommodate to your schedule.
