With twenty years of experience in therapy, psychological assessment, and neuropsychological assessment, I provide clarity that has real-life value. I focus on research-backed therapies. I explain the process when I suggest a specific therapy for you (in non-therapist language). Expert diagnostic and therapy skills can also involve a genuine, warm, and honest relationship. I fight for what my clients need outside of therapy if they need it. I have wanted to be a Clinical Psychologist since I was a teenager. My training was a full-time, eleven-year commitment to that goal. I love what I do and feel fortunate to do it.
My strengths include treating depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, OCD, survivors of partner/childhood abuse. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (MBCT), Measurement-Based Care (MBC). For trauma, I focus on Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Narrative Therapy, and the newest brain-based trauma treatments.
