I enjoy helping people overcome the obstacles they are facing in their life through brief, goal directed marital and individual therapy. I have been treating individuals, couples and families for the last 40 years in both private practice as well as in other mental health setting and my experience includes working with preteens, adolescents, young adults and as well as adults who are experiencing depression, anxiety and substance abuse issues. I also have experience teaching parenting classes and on coaching parents to develop new ways to deal with problems their children may be experiencing i.e.,behavioral, academic, mental health concerns.
Helping couples resolve marial conflicts is another area I have focused on in my practice. I have been trained in the Gottman method of couples therapy. My experience as a school social worker also gives me the insight and expertise to help and support school related issues.
