I offer Psychotherapy for adults. Common issues include: depression, anxiety, life crises, post-traumatic stress; life transitions, including midlife, the elder years, and aging; emotional growth, self-esteem; grief, grieving, and loss; coping with illness; relationship tune-ups, including communication. I value your thinking, which we will include as we solve your problems. I also focus on your strengths. They often hold a part of the solution. In addition, we may choose to do EMDR therapy. EMDR is a kind of psychotherapy that addresses not only trauma but also difficult life experiences or problems-in-living.
I offer a full range of treatment services. I specialize in an approach called EMDR Therapy. EMDR focuses on how memories shape our experiences, addressing difficult life experiences and trauma. Memories can be transformed through connecting them to healthier memory systems. Our ability to change seems to be empowered by altering these troublesome memories.
My goal is to help you better understand your problems-in-living and solve them as quickly as possible. I value your opinions and insights.
