My curiosity of the human mind and behavior led me to develop empathy, compassion, and a deep commitment for serving young children, teenagers and their families, guiding them through difficult experiences and problem-solving together as a team. While a former educator, I quickly realized that my heart was less focused on academic growth and more passionately focused on ensuring the social, emotional, and behavioral well-being of my students. Working from an Adlerian framework, I find great joy in the ability to support a child within the realm of their environment to best understand their unique self.
I work primarily with “tots and teens” (ages 3-7 and 13-18) and their caregivers on concerns including anxiety, depression, ADHD, behavior intervention and support, executive functioning skills, healthy limit setting, life transitions and adjustment. Additionally, I enjoy supporting caregivers in navigating the special education process in schools.
