At times, we all need help navigating life's challenges which may influence our relationships and quality of life. As a licensed clinical psychotherapist, I emphasize the importance of the relationship between the client and therapist, within a safe, non-judgmental environment. Through the use of insight-oriented and collaborative therapy, a process of change can occur. The therapeutic process can be transformative. I look forward to meeting and working with you.
In this day and age, there is much to feel anxiety about. I specialize in anxiety disorders such as: generalized anxiety, OCD, specific phobias, panic disorder, hoarding and social anxiety. I can offer the tools necessary to abate the distress so you can live a full and happy life. I also specialize in trauma and sudden loss that is unanticipated.
Empathy has no script. There is no right or wrong way to do it. It's simply listening, holding space, withholding judgement, emotionally connecting and communicating that incredibly healing message of "You are not alone."
