As a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, I deeply understand that our relationships mean everything: to our family, our partners, our friends, and ourselves. When we are unhappy and suffering, our needs are not being met in a fundamental way. My vision for successful therapy is allowing the space and time to explore those needs. As a therapist who uses systems theory, I might explore the different ‘parts’ of a person's experience with themselves and others in Individual and Family Therapy. In Couples Therapy, I pull from the Gottman Method as well as EFT to strengthen and heal relationships with fantastic and practical tools.
We, as humans, need secure attachments to ourselves and others to thrive. I am skilled in strengthening those connections and addressing our unmet needs in my work with individuals, couples, and families. I am IFS informed and trained in Level 2 Gottman and TFCBT. I integrate early childhood experiences, trauma, and attachment in my all of my work.
When experiencing stress or distress, it can be daunting to find the right therapist. I offer a free consultation and I would love to explore your 'why now' and how I can help. It's so important to notice when meeting a potential new therapist...Did I feel at ease? Did I laugh? Did I want to open more? Did I feel safe? Did I feel HEARD? Can't wait to talk!

When I think about therapy and what I do, I landed on this phrase, "helping you to find belonging to self and with other". I can help couples create or restore a safe and nurturing relationship that serves as refuge to the outside world. I also help individuals create this space for themselves. I like to set small goals and track as we achieve, so that therapy is beneficial and guided.

I am flexible and eclectic; however, a core component of my approach is that change happens through awareness and integration, and the relationship with the therapist is crucial in this process. Examples are integrating a couple into a newly attuned system where both members truly feel seen and heard or bringing awareness to internal parts to reduce inner tension, finding peace amongst.
