Hi, I'm Diamond and I cannot wait to connect with you! Over the past 11+ years I have worked with adults and children, couples, families and groups to address a variety of issues including: substance use, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, grief and loss, trauma and adjustment disorders. My passion lies in helping identify and break the cycle of generational trauma. I am currently accepting clients experiencing all of the areas above as well as those simply looking to explore self.
I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my practice. In therapy we'll look at how your thoughts affect your emotions and experience. I'll help you learn how to push back against those thoughts to change your feelings for the better. Therapy is not one size fits all. I adjust my techniques to meet each client where they are.
My practice name: "The Gift of You Counseling" was inspired by my belief that we all possess a special gift and that we all ARE a gift...worthy of being cherished, celebrated, discovered and presented to the world in the greatest form.
