I have always loved to help others. Early on, I found my passion for helping women build confidence and self-esteem through my love for fashion and retail services. However, I realized my true purpose in helping others through my journey of battling chronic illnesses. My deep understanding of the impact of chronic illness makes me unique in my ability to support and guide. Chronic illness has many tentacles and can engulf your whole identity. These feelings, compounded by physical pain, require a safe and secure therapeutic relationship.
I understand the importance of finding support that is knowledgeable, compassionate, empathetic, and has access to many resources. Building this relationship with you is my top priority. My approach to counseling is person-centered, strengths-based, and solution-focused.
I firmly believe you are the expert in your life, and I am here to provide resources to help you reach your end goal. I strongly advocate for the mind-body connection and enjoy incorporating skills to enhance it. I am certified in DBT and am interested in Somatic Experiencing and EMDR.
