I have availability for new clients now. I am aware that life can be, and often is, challenging and hard to navigate with the cards that have been dealt to us. It can also be a grand adventure that leads us to find connection and peace and meaning. I offer a space in therapy to explore what is working for you and what isn’t on your journey to find those things. My goal is to help you build your own life worth living through connection and resilience.
I am EMDR trained. My approach to therapy integrates this along with trauma-informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), & Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to build an awareness of and non-judgmental understanding of how your mind works & strengthen the mind-body connection.
I enjoy working with people who struggle with trauma, addiction, depression, anxiety, and or unstable relationships and intense emotions. In my practice I believe that respect and compassion are the most important building blocks for forming our relationship and making the techniques effective. Build a Balanced Life with Us! Our Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Skills Group helps you develop practical coping skills in a queer supportive environment. Learn techniques in : Distress Tolerance, Mindfulness, Interpersonal Effectiveness, and Emotional Regulation. Our DBT skills group runs for 12 weeks and is open as long as there are spots open. 6-8 members. In person group meets on Thursdays from 6:30-8 PM. Virtual group on Tuesdays 12-1:30 PM.
