Somewhere in each of our stories, we share a narrative that talks about feelings of pain, loneliness, or misunderstanding. I provide counseling to couples, families, and individuals who seek support in navigating through relational problems and the challenging and transitional stages of life. I practice from a multicultural perspective that centers your feelings and stories in a safe, genuine space. I have experience in mentoring, working in diverse communities, and leading community organizing and engagement initiatives.
Using a combination of narrative techniques and a client-centered approach, I encourage clients to accept and take pride in every part of their stories. I believe this approach allows me to get an authentic view of clients so that I can assist them in finding a voice that reflects their goals and values, and in becoming experts in their own lives.
My passion is helping clients to see that despite what we may have endured in the past, somewhere in our story there is also healing, resilience, and growth.
