The ideal person for me to work with has a genuine desire to change and improve their life. Trauma, depression, grief, and anxiety are all thieves of joy, so there must be a willingness to confront these issues. Together, we can work together to confront pain and suffering to create positive change.
As a person and a therapist, I am authentic, kind, and helpful. I believe life is serious, but at the same time, therapy shouldn't always be painful. I use humor, empathy, and solution-focused skills within sessions to help people regain a sense of control and feel like themselves again. I specialize in trauma, grief, anxiety, and depression.
