Hello! Thank you for prioritizing yourself. My main goal for therapy is developing a safe and healing relationship at your own pace, as this relationship provides that support and encouragement you may need to feel confident moving towards your values. I enjoy helping clients through a variety of different support needs, and I am especially passionate about helping folks and their family members with chronic illness and disability needs. I also love supporting birthing individuals and parents cope with their inner critic, and the challenges that comes with raising the next generation of happy, healthy, and successful adults.
I am passionate about mental health due to working through my own grief and trauma. This taught me that a person is not defined by their past or problems. I will create a space free of judgment where intentional reflection occurs, oftentimes allowing you to give yourself grace and connection with others living under similar social and systemic circumstances.
I strive to create an affirming environment for folks of any sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression that is inherently anti-racist and anti-ableist. I primarily use self-compassion practices, acceptance and commitment therapy, and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, but therapy services will be tailored to your unique needs and goals.
