Hello! My name is Desiree. Life can get tough and throw some curveballs that you are not ready to catch. When that happens, I am here for you! Even at a young age, I was always an advocate for therapy. I am equipped to provide services to a wide variety of populations across different ages, backgrounds, and with all stages of life!
As a social worker, I bring 8 years of experience in working in social services with the homeless, refugees, veterans, fosters, and youth in juvenile justice programs. Currently, I am gaining clinical experience through working with hospice and geriatric patients in a long-term setting. I have experience conducting group therapy with teens and parents.
I have also spent time mentoring young girls in health, education, and independence. I’m married and the parent to two amazing girls. Family time is my favorite time and I find great happiness in watching my children grow and thrive. My goal is to give my children and others a healthy and strong foundation to follow.
