Hi, my name is Desirae Giraldes and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have worked in communities throughout my career in a variety of settings and areas but my focus is working in the area of Mental Health. I love the mental health field and have worked in this area for over 25 years. While I love working with each of my clients who bring an individual experience to work through, I especially love working in the area of depression, anxiety and codependency.
My approach is eclectic. I am very client centered and aim to find out what got us to this point by using approaches like Psychodynamic, CBT and Narrative Theory while focusing on clients' strengths.
I strive to provide a welcoming and comfortable environment and communication style. I love the work I do. Working with people and being able to provide a service that benefits someone is a passion I have always had. I feel that I am doing exactly what I was meant to do.
