Like the company name suggests, we provide relief from depression and the associated symptoms. However, our aim is to surpass relief and help clients be able to experience joy and pleasure again. Life is too short to become complacent in maladaptive cycles that reinforce poor mental health. Depression and anxiety hinder people’s ability to effectively problem solve. Depression hinders creativity. A properly trained and experienced provider is necessary to shed insight on what might be maintaining the client’s status quo and then instruct clients on how to break their depressive cycle. Therefore, we are here to serve you.
We are committed to helping clients work through their affliction by using therapeutic modalities that are empirically supported. Research-based treatment approaches are imperative for breaking the mental health cycle that afflicts many people. Talk therapy is part of the process, but active participation from clients is necessary for recovery.
We treat the following afflictions: depression, postpartum depression/anxiety, bi-polar, anxiety related to real life events, grief, failure-to-launch syndrome, trauma, relationship boundaries, and assertiveness training.
