I have been a marriage and family therapist for over twenty-five years. Through my counseling years, I have worked with individuals, couples, and families. The issues I have addressed have run from major mental illness, to parental separation/divorce, to blended families Though I have worked with all ages, my primary focus has been with teenagers through older adult populations.
Though my primary focus has been working with improving communication for couples and families, I also have extensive training in major mental illness and addictions of all types.And, it should be noted that a significant portion of my practice is with individuals.
I have a very flexible schedule. Early morning appointments can be accommodated, as well as early evening appointments. I work with a focus less on theory and more on practical solutions. Clients should expect to be active participants throughout the counseling process.
