I am SYMBIS certified to counsel pre-marital couples. I am also trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which aims to help people understand and accept complicated emotions/feelings. Before becoming a counselor, I had 20-plus years of teaching experience. After teaching, I was the Teen Mom Mentor Director for Young Life for two years.
Our bodies are adversely affected by stress, anxiety, depression, and trauma, which influence our relationships, occupations, and daily activities.
