Life can often present us with difficult challenges and situations which can be complicated due to past experiences and traumas. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 19 years of clinical experience and I have a passion for helping people find relief. I believe that we were created to move towards healing, our mind, body and hearts. Sometimes this healing can use some assistance. EMDR is a robust, evidence-based treatment to help clients reprocess difficult experiences and traumas, both past and present, in order to change negative beliefs and undesired responses.
I am accepting new clients for EMDR treatment and augment this treatment with DBT and CBT in session. There is great value in the professional relationship and a focus on strength-based qualities. Special insight for clients of the Christian faith can be offered when relevant and desired by the client.
