Often, my clients arrive with anxiety, feelings of shame, or are suffering from challenging relationship dynamics. Others, arrive unsure of the exact source of their problem, but know they want more fulfillment. As a trauma-informed therapist, I provide an affirming and warm counseling space, while pulling from a large toolbox to help you reach your therapeutic goals. We will address the hard stuff but find lightness and even humor in our sessions. I want to assist you in making desired changes, and help you connect more deeply to feelings of hope and inspiration.
My main approach in couples therapy is Emotional Focused Therapy because it transforms conflict and strengthens connection. Internal Family Systems, amongst other mind-body approaches, informs my work with individuals, helping them heal pain, remove obstacles, and connect to their potential.
