Addressing trauma within cultural norms and family structures provides for a 360º vantage point of an individual’s world view. This is especially important when I am working with people of color, women, individuals of the LBGTQIA+ community, and any persons that comes from a minority status. Trauma and pain can be considered as muscle memory. This type of emotional memory can be passed down through generations and if left unexplored, can lead to emotional issues.
I help individuals reauthor the stories of their lives to facilitate acceptance over things they cannot control, foster healing within the self and soul, and commit to new outlooks on life that more closely align with your perceptions. My therapeutic style is understanding the cultural competencies behind our mental wellbeing by decolozing mental health.

Consciousness Raising- Group for Womxn of Color
This trauma processing group for people of color to heal and find deeper meaning in their pain through ancestral examination. This group consists of intention exploration of trauma as it plagues and shades our everyday lives. We address our inner child and holding space in a collective manner to heal through connecting with Mother Earth. We will use our bodies to explore internalized trauma that is often overlooked. Making friends with our shadows will lead to our salvation as people of color. Consciousness Raising begins every 6 weeks. Your commitment is $70/week. Register by email. Come open, Leave free.
