It can feel like a huge risk to seek out therapy when we’re in pain and struggling with all that life can bring. I honor the courage and vulnerability it takes to reach out for support when you need it and I am committed to finding a path forward together. I am a queer identified licensed independent social worker (LISW) who has been providing psychotherapy to adults for over 20 years. My intervention style is collaborative and compassionate. I practice from an attachment and relationally focused theoretical framework that utilizes multi-modal intervention strategies that work best for you to facilitate healing, insight, and growth.
I specialize in working with LGBTQIA+ individuals, couples, and families and have extensive experience working with transgender, non-binary, and gender expansive folx. I’ve also worked in multiple healthcare systems and enjoy collaborating with healthcare providers of all kinds dealing with the stress, burnout, and multiple challenges that this work brings.
I am currently accepting new clients on a limited basis and offer exclusively telehealth video platform sessions to the people I work with from Central and Eastern Iowa.
