Denise finds passion and purpose in working with adults and children as they address the impact of traumatic experiences safely so they may use it as a stepping stone instead of a stumbling block as they move through life. She especially enjoys helping women identify their strengths so they may use them to overcome their struggles and live the life they desire. She aims to help her clients improve and alleviate symptoms related to trauma so they may experience more peace, confidence, and joy.
Denise received her Master's in Clinical Counseling and Psychology from Troy University in Pensacola, Florida. She is trained in EMDR and DBT. Using an eclectic approach, she implements the most effective tools and approaches from a range of evidence-based methods to address each client's individual goals.
Beginning therapy can feel daunting. My role as your therapist is to meet you exactly where you are to help you begin the journey towards reaching your own goals. You are the expert of your own lived experience and I am here to walk beside you in the direction of clarity, healing, and peaceful existence, one baby step or leap at a time.
