Welcome my name is Denise Bonner, I am licensed therapist, working with individuals and couples for over 20 years. My purpose and intention is to create a safe and supportive environment for my clients within a framework of non judgement and complete acceptance. This enables my clients to feel safe and comfortable to reveal their innermost thoughts and feelings.
I utilize the Cognitive Behavioral Model which is working on how our thoughts control our moods, actions, behaviors and so on. These patterns of thinking become habit forming are mostly subconscious, but end up controlling us and causing pain and suffering. This is called "self defeating thinking."
Besides Cognitive Therapy, I incorporate Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Humanistic and Mindfulness Therapy. I am committed to providing support, understanding and compassion to my clients while helping them to identify and reach their therapeutic goals. In therapy, we will focus on your strengths and enhancing greater stability and joy in your life.
