Hello, I am Dee. I am an Licensed Clinical Social Worker and an Addictions recovery therapist. By using a client centered, counselor directed approach, I help you achieve mental wellness. As a culturally focused provider, I specialize in helping Black, Indigenous and People's of Other Colors and Cultures feel better. No matter what walk of life you come from, I can help you overcome psychological issues you are facing. As a trauma treatment specialist, I help people with trauma issues as healing from the past is possible.
I am a client centered therapist, so this means we work on whatever you want to work on. We will create a goal together,. we will review your progress regularly, we will monitor your progress using surveys and then talking about them, and we will take the time needed to make sure you are experiencing positive changes.
During your first session I will ask a lot of questions about who you are and what you need. I want to find out what's going on and then together, we make plan about next steps. By the end of the first session we will have created a plan about how to best help you.
