I have been a therapist for over 35 years, and consider it to be one of the primary passions in my life. I feel truly honored to have played a part in helping others in their life journey and enjoy getting to know them. I have had a wide range of work experiences ranging from adults, adolescents, and children in a variety of settings. I use a number of approaches, which are based on the needs and preferences of the person being seen. Above all however I believe in the strength of the therapeutic relationship and the value of equal partnership as key ingredients in overcoming whatever your concerns may be.
I enjoy working with preteens to adults, as well as families and couples therapy. Presenting concerns could include anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship or family issues, ADHD, adjustment disorders, grief, etc. I work in an office with a psychiatrist who is available if you prefer to have coordination of care between your prescriber and therapist.
You can expect my office to be a judgment free zone, but I will provide you with honest feedback when needed as well. I have found that acceptance of feedback comes with the knowledge that the person delivering it genuinely cares about you and your well being, and helping you further your goals.
