Hello! My name is Deidre and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. In my over 30 years of being a therapist, I have worked in different populations and continue to enjoy the journey of wellness. Most recently, I have done much work in the area of trauma. Using the new research done in this area, I have seen much progress and a decrease in symptoms while implementing education, brain tools and mindfulness.
My approach to therapy is person-centered and culturally sensitive. I use positive psychology and cognitive behavioral counseling with a touch of existential to help others be the most healthy and resilient they can be.
