I am a licensed MFT with a combined thirty years of experience with children, teens and families in both private practice and in schools in Marin County. I am a compassionate and caring therapist who integrates therapeutic approaches based on client need. While I have received training in various modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral, Trauma based, and neuro-science therapy, my work is centered on client need and the therapeutic relationship.
I have worked with children and families as a school counselor, teacher, consultant, speaker and program development for better mental health in schools, and "Teens at Risk." I have a private practice and specialize in the treatment of anxiety and adjustment in children, teens, adults and family systems. I am CO-chair of our Marin CAMFT Trauma Team.
The years that I have spent with teens, parents and families in schools as a teacher and counselor, private practice, and mental health program development has given me a unique understanding and appreciation of the challenges of parenting and the developmental and emotional needs of children.
