My expertise has been acquired over 25 years within clinical and educational settings as a practicing Clinical Psychologist and Licensed Educational Psychologist. My practice provides individual, couples, family, adolescent, and children's therapy through a variety of modalities: Cognitive-Behavioral, Educational, Solution Oriented, Family Systems, Behavior, Creative Expressive Arts, Play, and Christian Counseling frameworks. Predominant issues of my patients include trauma, relationship/family difficulties, depression, anxiety, mood regulation, stress management, ADHD, life management skills, and parenting skills.
Due to my educational expertise, I am able to assist parents and provide guidance as they work through the process of supporting their children with special needs: Learning Disabilities, ADHD, Asperger's/Autism, Social/Emotional. These processes include Instructional Strategies Team Meetings (IST), 504 Plans, and Individual Education Plans (IEP).
