Debra’s goal is to stand alongside you in your journey of growth and healing. She uses a person-centered approach when working with clients, however also draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and uses techniques from other modalities to supplement her practice. Debra is currently training in Neuro-Affective Relational Model (NARM), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help support her work in complex trauma.
She is passionate about working with older adolescents, young adults, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, adjustment issues, difficulties with relationships, coping with stress, and traumatic experiences. She has a specialized interest in working with adopted individuals. She is LGBTQIA+ affirming.
