I earned my Master’s in Clinical Social Work from NYU in 1989, and have worked through the lifespan with clients in a variety of settings. I have been committed to helping people from all walks of life to find the courage to transform their lives. Whether you are experiencing distress related to your past or present, I utilize creative, non-stressful methods to support you in identifying and being able to use your strengths. The goal being able to enhance your self awareness towards healing so that you can lead the life you want.
I enjoy working with people as unique individuals to discover healthier paths. We prepare for change and challenge old unworkable ways of thinking, making goal forward decisions and learning to let go of what is outside of our control. To recognize we get stuck in uproductive patterns and unhealthy relationships and help identify them.
There is strength in recognizing that all feelings have a place, and sometimes you have to go through it to get past it. There are ups and downs as a part of everyday life. Being able to cope with emotional distress is key to being able to better find and experience your joy. And I would be honored to be part of this journey with you.
