I work with students and their parents to help better understand a student's strengths and weaknesses and how best to support them both academically and social-emotionally. Students that I work with may be experiencing challenges related to learning disabilities, such as dyslexia, dycalculia, or dysgraphia, or struggling with managing their attention, concentration, and impulsivity due to Attention Deficit/ Hyperactivity Disorder. I also work with students who may have, or have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and are struggling with the impact of their disorder on their learning and social-emotional functioning.
I provide students with neuropsychoeducational evaluations to determine areas of strengths and weaknesses, and how best to support learning. Student counseling is also available, with specialization in anxiety, depression, emotion dysregulation, autism, and externalizing disorders. Parent counseling and consultation on behavior management is also available.
